ABOUT INFRIVE
Infrive was founded on a simple belief: better infrastructure can change lives. But getting from a good idea to a funded, deliverable project is often harder than it should be.
THE PERSON BEHIND INFRIVEMEET THE FOUNDER
Founder, Infrive
I have spent more than 15 years working with governments, development institutions and businesses to tackle infrastructure and economic development challenges across the UK and internationally.
My experience spans infrastructure strategy and policy, investment appraisal, project preparation, financing and programme delivery.
I've worked on everything from public transport reform and energy transition to investment programmes and institutional change. What connects that work is a belief that infrastructure should be judged by the difference it makes to people and places.
I founded Infrive to bring that experience together with independent thinking and new technology — helping organisations make better decisions and turn worthwhile ideas into real projects.
Why I founded Infrive ↓WHY I FOUNDED INFRIVE
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with governments, development institutions and businesses on infrastructure and economic development programmes in the UK and internationally.
I’ve seen what good infrastructure can achieve. Better transport connects people to jobs and opportunities. Reliable energy helps businesses grow. Well-planned investment can strengthen communities and improve lives.
I’ve also seen how difficult it can be to turn worthwhile ideas into real projects. Sometimes funding is the obstacle. Often it is more complicated: fragmented evidence, competing institutional priorities, unclear responsibilities or insufficient resources to prepare an investment properly.
And sometimes we become so focused on preparing the projects already in front of us that we forget to ask whether they are the right projects in the first place.
I founded Infrive because I believe we can do better. I wanted to bring together practical infrastructure experience, independent thinking and new technology to help organisations make better investment decisions and get worthwhile projects moving.
That means being willing to challenge assumptions, focus on what matters and find practical solutions rather than add unnecessary complexity.
Ultimately, I want Infrive to be judged not by the number of reports we produce or the value of investments we advise on, but by the difference the projects we help develop make to people and places.
People. Places. Progress.
